What is the relationship between ASC Italia and the European Institute of Oncology in Milan?

These are two completely unrelated entities from a business/administrative point of view. ASC is supported by the European Institute of Oncology (IEO) in Milan, founded by Umberto Veronesi, and, in particular, by specialist radiologists, first and foremost Prof Giuseppe Petralia, who, in collaboration with the international scientific community, have promoted and developed the Whole-Body Diffusion in a large number of cases in Italy. At the ASC Centre, the examinations are performed by specially trained medical radiology technicians and radiology doctors, with the advice and clinical and scientific supervision of the same IEO specialists who worked on the development of this scan.
